I never really have to find a reason to write about lace. While Lace is big in bridal this season, it is not just reserved for your special day.
This season, it is being used as never before. It is popping up as embellishments, overlays and edgings on day wear, shoes, handbags and even jewelry.
Jen, one of our brides is a lace person through and through. When she put on Genevieve, we all fell in love with this dress again! You look beautiful Jen!

Once cherished as the ultimate wedding fabric because of its cost, delicacy, and scarcity, lace is now the realm of the more traditional bride. Symbolizing timelessness, nothing communicates tradition more than lace.
There are numerous varieties of lace, each with its own weave and look. I love the feel and intricate patterns of a levers lace, while the delicacy of Chantilly lace is always breathtaking.
I personally think that a lace dress is always fitting for any type of wedding, It adds texture and adornment without the glitz of beading or shine. Lace can also be coupled with fabrics such as silk taffeta or satin to provide an element of tradition but not in an overwhelming way.
