During a visit to the majestic Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain I was rendered speechless at the incredible architecture and intricate details of the arabesques and calligraphy. The palace was aptly described by Moorish poets as a pearl set within emeralds.
Gazing at these magnificent geometric ceiling patterns with their almost hypnotic power, I was incredibly inspired to create a wedding dress (called “Alhambra”) that payed tribute to this amazing venue. Although inspired in Spain, it is most often described by our brides as a Grecian Goddess Wedding Gown.
